One of the projects Tucker worked on shortly after college was an interactive map of Central Park, which helped people with disabilities access attractions. Many people take accessibility for granted. However, it presents a real problem for those who drive power wheelchairs when sidewalks do not have accessible curbs. Tucker worked with the NYC Parks Department and the Mayor’s Office for People with Disabilities to create phone and web applications that will help disabled people get around New York City’s most popular attractions.

This project entailed:

• Designated accessible and inaccessible entrances and pathways
• Collaborated with the Central Park Parks Department and the Mayor’s Office for People with Disabilities
